Hi, my name is White Socks, and I really do have white socks! Well, not real socks like you humans, but each of my legs looks like I am wearing white socks on them. It makes me a very handsome two-year-old boy. That and my bright yellows eyes will grab your attention. I am a very people driven cat. I am very eager to be around humans and I am a true lap cat. I absolutely love being held! I am talkative, and I will let you know when I want more attention from you. I also like lying in the playroom with the other felines while they run around, but I do prefer humans. They are my favorite by far!

AniMeals Contra Costa Humane Society

More and more pets are finding themselves homeless because their families are facing tough economic times.  AniMeals Pet Food Bank is a partnership of Contra Costa Humane Society, the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, and Pet Food Express that helps financially challenged families and individuals keep their pets in the home.  CCHS is happy to assist our community by providing supplementary pet food to the most needy in Contra Costa County.

AniMeals works with community groups, local businesses, and compassionate individuals to collect pet food and, through our partnership with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, distribute these goods to our community's neediest families.
