Dog Training In The Company of Dogs Dog and puppy training with Sasha Futran provides positive reinforcement training. There's always a full schedule of classes at our North Oakland store as well as private consultations available for behavior modification. The emphasis is on effect communications between two and four-leggeds. Current offerings include:
Puppy Socialization & Beginning Training for a discussion of all the puppy issues while they play and socialization as well as beginning training for sit, come, and leash manners. Next class runs four Saturdays, June 19th - July 17th, (skips July 4th weekend) from 10am - 11am.
Family Dog One covers all the basics: Sit, down, stay, come, leash manners, no jumping, drop it and leave it. Classes are six Wednesdays, June 23rd - July 28th from 7pm - 8pm.
Doggy Tune Up! is a intermediate class focusing on perfecting the 'tough stuff' with distractions: Come, no pulling on leash, stay, no jumping. Classes are six Wednesdays, June 23rd - July 28th from 7pm - 8pm.
Come, Spot, Come is a one hour workshop in learning how to train a solid recall no matter the distraction. Next workshop to be announced.
Slow Down! is another workshop. This workshop concentrates in training your dog not to pull when on leash. Next workshop to be announced.
Private Behavior Modification also available for one-on-one problem solving for a variety of issues.

Bay Area Veterinary Specialists 14790 Washington Ave, San Leandro, CA 94578 510 483-7387 The Emergency Service is available exclusively to treat pets in an emergency, when the family veterinarian is unavailable. Once the pet's condition is stabilized, it will be released or returned to it's regular veterinarian for continued care.
