Contra Costa Humane Society AniMeals Program
AniMeals works with community groups, local businesses, and compassionate individuals to collect pet food and, through our partnership with the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, distribute these goods to our community's neediest families.

We take donations of unopened and unexpired dog and cat food here at our Pleasant Hill store. Look for our barrels at all Pet Food Express stores in Contra Costa County, as well as at other pet-friendly sites around the county. Dog Training

Classes in Puppy Management and Basic Obedience. Positive reinforcement techniques are used to teach dogs the commands which can be used by owners as tools for practical application. Behavior problems are addressed as well as instructing the family members as to the proper relationship which should be developed with their dog to prevent problems occurring in the future and to enhance their current and lifelong relationship.
Wayne Berman has over 25 years professional dog training experience and has personally trained over 3,000 dogs, plus many others through group classes. He is a California state certified dog trainer and is certified in pet first aid and CPR.
