Smallbatch Frozen Chicken Blend Recall

May 09, 2017

On May 5, 2017, Smallbatch Pets, Inc. issued a voluntary recall of select date codes of their Frozen Chicken Blend for Dogs due to possible Salmonella contamination. No health incidents have been reported. We have pulled all of the affected product from our shelves and have consulted closely with the manufacturer to confirm that the measures they have taken are reasonable and appropriate to assure the safety of their other products.

The affected batches can be identified by their UPC and date codes, as follows:

D032 705105970974 2/1/2018
E058 705105970974 2/27/2018

Symptoms of Salmonella infection include, but are not limited to, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. If you believe that you or your pet may be suffering from Salmonella infection, contact your health care provider or veterinarian as soon as possible.  Save the product packaging if possible.

You are welcome to return or exchange any Smallbatch product to any Pet Food Express location, even if you purchased it at a different retailer. Please speak with one of our Associates if you have any questions or further concerns.
